Whitley Bay welcome North West Counties League side Congleton Town to Hillheads tomorrow in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Having battled their way through two replays to reach this stage, it will be Whitley's sixth FA Cup tie of the season and prize money of £4500 awaits the winners.
The sides met in Cheshire last season in the FA Vase 2nd Round with Whitley winning 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from Peter Watling but much has changed at both clubs since then.
Congleton parted company with their manager just after that FA Vase game while Leon Ryan left Hillheads barely a month later. Only three of the Bay players who took part in that game are expected to be playing tomorrow while there has been a similar turnover among the Congleton squad.
The Cheshire side reached this stage of the competition with a 4-3 victory at Jarrow Roofing in the last round, having defeated Handsworth Parramore by the same score at Booth Street in the previous round and Nostell Miners Welfare 4-0 in a replay following a 0-0 draw.
Team news for Whitley is that top scorer Adam Shanks, who missed the victory at North Shields last weekend, is back from holiday but both of the new signings, Liam Hudson and Michael Bell miss out as they are cup tied.
If the game ends in a draw after 90 minutes, the replay will take place at Congleton on Tuesday evening, kick off 7.45pm.
